I find the little things in life to be the most beautiful. By little, I don’t merely mean small in size but also in context, in valor. Like the unique after taste of geographically different coffee beans, life’s flavors are sometimes only perceptible in the breath that follows the swallow.
My beard decided to change color after two months of growing. Without patience and acceptance, I would have never known that my DNA had this ingredient. I would have never given myself the chance to see. Its getting long, I’m questioning whether to trim it. Then I wonder what tomorrow will bring, and let it be. Who knows how life will taste after this swallow.
This is brilliant. You know, when people say don’t sweat the small stuff it annoys me. To me the small stuff dictates the big stuff. You make excellent points about flavors and scents and even how we as people change over time. Thank you for this. Also - i liked being called kind lioness :). Kisses.
